NEW DEVELOPMENTS

* The matter for PROCEEDINGS of the 'Atlanta Conference' is almost ready.

* Next biennial international conference of WAVES has been fixed for August 7-9, 1998. It will be held in Los Angeles and is being hosted by California State University Northridge. The title of the conference shall be 'New Prespectives on Vedic & Ancient Indian Civilization'. Please mark your calendar, and suggest names of some persons who couldbe invited for it.

* An ad-hoc committee for founding 'INDIA BRANCH OF WAVES' was constituted. It has strong group of members. The ad-hoc committee has decided to hold a one-day conference of WAVES in Delhi on December 27, 1997. The theme of the Conference shall be 'Indian Identity & Cultural Continuity'.
